UdA promotes international cooperation not only from an academic point of view but also as a means of socio-economic growth. Indeed, thanks to its own funds and to external sources of funding, it supports projects of cooperation and development in order to reduce inequality, to promote human rights, gender equality, democracy and the welfare state.
Its international cooperation program is primarily based on the interweaving of networks.
Among its several cooperation programmes, UdA boasts an ambitious plan of pediatric surgery in Sudan, funded by AICS: its main target is the improvement of the region’s health standards.
