One of the most significant and significant challenges with which both advanced and developing companies will have to deal with in the coming years is, on the one hand, in general, a collective life oriented more and more strongly to the knowledge and acquisition of knowledge and skills that will allow the individual to orient himself in the global and increasingly complex world, and on the other a labor market in which the tasks and qualifications will be increasingly enriched with knowledge, know-how (technical and high cognitive skills) ) and knowing how to be (socio-emotional, ie soft skills).
For this reason, the contemporary citizen who lives in a historical-social and cultural context strongly characterized by knowledge must be appropriately prepared and supported to keep up to date with the rapid changes that will take place and which promise to be pressing.
This circumstance will mean investing heavily in the growth of human capital and in the promotion and development of each one in terms of skills and innovation.
Starting from these premises, the course aims to provide a picture of what is meant by the knowledge society; what are the transformations underway; in which areas, mainly and in which forms, the knowledge will manifest itself in the overview as measures of a social nature, ie which educational policies, training and which services so far contemporary society has to implement and develop.
