gold necklace 'cannatora' with 'presentosa'

gold 'cannatura' and red coral were the favourite necklace. Grains of gold 'cannatora' are smooth or decorated as a seed. Coral grains were faccetted only in the last century

silver hooks and 'cimaruta' amulet

Silver hooks are for female dress and represent a double-tail mermaid with apothropaic valence.

Cimaruta is a male amulet with the magic plant of rue and other symbols

Amorino (Cupid)

A relatively recent jwell from Di Rienzo in Scanno. In the past it was used as tensioner knitting works

Madonna degli Angeli, painted ceramic and gold.

Red coral cupid

This brooch was of a very good friend of mine, Prof. Annamaria Giuntella. She was a Medioeval archeologist and she enherited this beutiful brooch from a old aunt. I miss a lot you Annamaria, I will never forget you.

'presentosa'

This is the first jwellery my wife and I bought together after being burgked. Typically this jwellery was a present (from here the name 'presentosa') to the bride from her mother-in-low.
