masks are not very well preserved. However, 'Majo' the May has a high conic hat decorated with vegetal motivfs, the same hat is worn by the Abruzzi Carnival 'Pulcinella' and by devils 'ciuce' and angels during the Ssant'Antonio abate feast (Jannuary the 16th) |

Sant'Antonio and the Hermits
This is a still-active tradition and performed the third week of Jannuary. It consists of songs and pantomime which varies very much across Abruzzi. |

Sant'Antonio
Characters of Sant' Antonio are: Sant'Antonio, 2 or more Hremits, San Michele Arcangelo (Angel), 2 black devils and 2 red devils, shepherds, sometimes also Sant'Antonio mother and other characters. |

The Angel
Similarly to the Majo and Pulcinella he wears a high conic heat symbol of the divine nature or better a link with the sky. He represent a half of the Universe and is in balance with the devils such as Pulcinella in the Carnival |

A Devil
Covered with wool lots of metal bells and leather harness, and has horns made with dry red capsicum (pipitign', pepentun). |

'Palmentieri' feast at Salle
The feast of Beato Roberto. The 'palmentieri' are decorated baskets filled with traditional food offered for sale. The proceeds go to the feast organisation and the Church. The Group partecipates in the parade and then in dances and banquet on the roads and squares till late in the night. |
