The Domus Sessoriana is a first-class hotel located on the slopes of the Esquiline Hill, in one wing of the Monastery of the Basilica of Santa Croce in Gerusalemme, a short distance from the Coliseum and the St. John Lateran Basilica. This hotel is infused with 2000 years of history and some of the city’s oldest ruins can be viewed from the hotel terrace.
Accommodation is in a single room basis with a limited number of twin rooms available on a first-come first-served basis. Each room has traditional tiled floors and furnishings, bathrooms with showers, air conditioning, satellite TV, safe and internet access. Some of the rooms are part of the ancient structure, while others on the top floor have rooftop view over Rome and the monastery. In addition to the rooms in the Domus Sessoriana, some participants may be housed in local hotels, depending upon the size of the group.
