Course Description
Ovarian cancer is a serious and under-recognized threat to women’s health. Ovarian cancer kills more women than all other gynecologic tumors combined and it is the fourth leading cause of cancer death among women in Europe. Ovarian cancer occurs in 1 in 57 women. This course is dedicated to an indepth in discussion of the best diagnostic and care option for the comprehensive management of patients with ovarian cancer. The educational program is directed primarily toward gynecologic oncologists, medical oncologists, radiologists and fellows interested in ovarian cancer.
The format of the course will include didactic sessions from a panel of expert scientists who will also discuss emerging methods for diagnosing and treating ovarian cancer. The newest developments in ovarian cancer will be discussed. Question-and-answer panel discussions will allow participants to interact with the faculty.
We do hope that participants will remember this course of the Mediterranean School of Oncology as a highlight of up to date training in the field of ovarian cancer.
