Project:
“Distance Education in Oncology”
Distance education in oncology
utilizes the satellite technology.
The implementation of the network linking CINBO’s
member Universities via satellite technology
will start soon.
The project named “FADO", which started in June 2005 is now extended
to 10 different Italian Universities belonging to
CINBO. Thanks to FADO, an important educational program
covering various aspects of oncology, in form of upfront
courses, seminars, video-conferences , ecc with a
high level of interaction will take place among the
connected centers.
FADO consists not only of courses to which attend
passively, but a real virtual room in which every
student can offer its active contribution by presentation
of a clinical case, or raise questions directly to
the tutors.
The project FADO has been made possible thanks to
an educational grant from Pfizer Italia.
